Privacy Policy
We are Corton Kennels and Cattery, a licenced Boarding kennels and cattery based at Calne in North Wiltshire.
At Corton Kennels and Cattery we a committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our customers and visitors to our web site (www.cortonkennelsandcattery.co.uk. We do not sell, trade or divulge information to other companies and businesses for marketing purposes.
Types of Data we Collect
Cookies are used on our website to enhance visitor experience
When someone visits www.cortonkennelsandcattery.co.uk we use a third-party service, Infoserve Ltd, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Infoserve to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
We also use a further third-party service to operate a direct booking system. They are Petadmin Ltd. Access is gained via the user’s name and password. All other information is on our system.
We do not offer guest wi-fi at our venue. Our network is password protected.
We do not have a newsletter.
We rarely send out emails other than to confirm booking.
Our booking system will collect the following data: - either via the website, email or by telephone
Your Name
Your address
Your email and contact Number
Contact details of someone you nominate to be contacted whilst you are away.
Details of your Pet/s.
Details of your Veterinary Surgeon.
These details ore kept on our computer database. Again, this system is password protected and access is limited to trusted personnel only. There is a limited backup to the database of 10 copies. The oldest being deleted once a new copy is made. Backups are normally made at least daily.
Your details are kept for making bookings and keeping a record of your booking history enabling us to offer loyalty discounts and an introductory offer for new customers
Your details will be kept for a maximum of five years. If we have not heard from you within 4 years on 5th January annually your personal details will be removed from our system.
We may share information with your veterinary surgeon in cases where your pet falls ill, and our insurance company Amlin UK limited where we would be making a claim for veterinary fees.
Access to your Personal Data
You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to info@cortonkennelsandcattery.co.uk FAO Richard Cropper or telephone 01249 760289. All enquiries will be answered within 30 days.
Bookings made by email will be removed once the data is safely stored on our system.
Changes to this Privacy Notice
We reserve the right to change our privacy policy at any time and policy will be reviewed annually.
